The Headteacher will decide as to whether the school is to be open/closed/partially closed.
This information will be put on the front page of the All Saints website & Twitter daily. We will text and email parents/carers* as early as possible in the morning.
We will also advise Dorset County Council of the decision on a daily basis and they will have this information available on their website.
Local radio Stations will also access the information with Dorset County Council whether the school is open or closed.
During school hours
The Headteacher will decide as to whether the school is to be /closed/partially closed or remain open.
In the event of full or partial closure during the day we will text and email the parents/carers*, that the school will be closing and that either their child will be sent home or will remain in school for contact to be made directly by their tutor. Parents/carers have already provided their instruction for this on our admissions or data collection forms.**
The All Saints website & Twitter will also keep parents/carers updated.
For any following days, the above procedure will be used.
*We use the first priority contact details for each child as held on our data base. Please ensure you keep the school informed with any up to date information particularly in regard to the First Priority Contact mobile and email details.
**Each child’s tutor holds a list of that information.
