Year 6 Transition

To all of our Year 6 students who will join us in September, their parents, carers and families…Welcome to All Saints!

Please do take a moment to read our formal welcome letter by clicking on the red button below. If you have questions that you would like to ask us, please email us at

At All Saints, we work in partnership with our primary schools to ensure students’ progression to secondary school is successful. In this section of the website, we want to introduce you to All Saints, our staff and our school. We hope that you will help you have an understanding of what the next stage of your education will look like as part of our community.

We know that starting secondary school an exciting time for students. It can also be a daunting one at the same time for you and your parents…try not worry – we will support you along the way!

This year, with schools being closed due to coronavirus we are planning to upload a series of transition videos, which can be viewed in any order. We have posted some 360 degree pictures of our school so you can learn about the site. You can see these by scrolling down on this page.

After half term, we will be in touch to explain how we will introduce our Year 7 team which includes our tutors. We carefully place students in tutor groups based on the information we receive from our primary schools

Year 7 will sometimes be hard work but it is also a lot of fun! Throughout the year, we will run trips & events where you can get to know each other better and explore a whole range of extra curricular opportunities. We have one golden rule, which is to treat others the way you wish to be treated and to help us live in this way, we ask pupils to be ready, to show respect and to be safe at all times.

At All Saints, our high expectations lead to high achievement and we always are ready to reward and celebrate success and community spirit in its many forms. We believe you will have a fantastic experience with us and we will do everything we can to help you achieve this!

We look forward to meeting you in person in September 2020 – and before if at all possible – but will be in touch through technology until then.

If you would like to, please do follow our Facebook feed which has captures lots of our current stories and events! To do this, click on the Facebook icon at the top of our website or follow this link

We are looking forward to meeting you soon

Welcome Letter

Welcome to All Saints!

Please spend a few moments to watch a short video about All Saints that is introduced by Mr Reiffer (current Head of Year 8)

How have previous Year 7 students settled in?

Once joining Year 7, you’ll face different challenges and learn how to mature as a young adult. We asked four Year 7 students how they settled in at All Saints school. In this video, these students give us their views about how the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 actually feels.
