On Friday 28th June, we said goodbye to our Year 11 pupils during a fantastic evening in the Ocean room at Weymouth Pavilion.
It was lovely to see students looking their absolute best, right from the moment they arrived in Limousines, sports cars and camper vans. Throughout the night, their behaviour was absolutely fantastic as they marked the end of their time with us. The warm atmosphere in the room was not simply due to the heat of the day – it also symbolised such an inclusive evening with staff, pupils, parents and onlookers celebrating a really special occasion!
Hopefully, all pupils will take great memories from the evening as a small snapshot of their time at All Saints, as well as lots of photos (see below!) and, of course, friendships that will last long beyond the evening. The formal dancing was great fun with the vast majority remembering the steps learnt. It didn’t matter that some didn’t and everyone soon was in the groove.
Thanks to everyone involved in organising the Ball including pupils, staff, the DJ, photographers, helpers on the day and Pavilion staff. It was a great success and a fitting way to mark the end of Year 11.
The provisional date for next year’s Leavers’ Ball is Thursday 3rd July 2020 at Weymouth Pavilion. Arrivals will be between 6pm and 7.30pm as usual.
