Food and Nutrition pupils have been treated to taste the experience of working in a professional kitchen.
Their task was to portion a chicken for satue, prepare and cook it to make a coq au vin. They did an excellent job and enjoyed eating their work.
Transport, teaching and ingredients were provided by Weymouth College. Head Chef Matt organised the event with his chef Ashley who said, “The pupils were a really positive representation of the school.” Thanks to the children, the College is keen to continue the relationship and try and enthuse the next generation together with Mrs Allen.
