On the 23rd of November, 14 of our pupils attended a STEM Engineering challenge at Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum. A very tough challenge was given to the pupils to design and build a model aircraft with working ailerons, elevators and a rudder. They had to prepare a presentation that showed their finished work along with the costings and their successes. Showing great resilience and teamwork both our teams achieved a successful end result. One team, in particular, did exceptionally well, coming 2nd out of the 14 teams. They were also only one point behind the winning team. Everyone had an enjoyable, educational day.
